I’m a dedicated Reflexology Practitioner and exam assessor and also a qualified Phlebotomist. I have been involved in this practice since 2001. I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing. As a Reflexologist, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between western medicine and complementary, while providing a nurturing atmosphere in which to heal and relax. I have a private Reflexology clinic in Richmond and also outsource my work to the care sector including Kingston Hospital McMillan Unit, the South East Cancer Help Centre and at Croydon University Hospital in the McMillan Unit offering therapy to patients and staff. I have done further training in cancer care Reflexology with the (AOR) Association of Reflexologists. I am a member of the AOR and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
I am Co-Director of Complementary Care C.I.C (www.complementarycare.biz) which was founded by myself and Julie Gravell to provide free treatments to people who would benefit during difficult times. It has been granted funding by the National Lottery Community Fund which enables us to offer 200 free treatments to people living with/recovering from cancer in 2020. We are dedicating these treatments to the William Rous Royal Marsden Unit at Kingston Hospital as this offers such wonderful place of support for patients. We have also been awarded funding from Richmond Parish Lands Charity to work in collaboration with the Woodville Dementia Day centre in Ham, Richmond providing 132 treatments to service users, carers and staff. We were also recently awarded funding from the Coronavirus Support Fund distributed by the National Lottery Community Fund to support us with a project so we can provide 126 counselling sessions with Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness.
The company provides Counsellling and Complementary Therapies to various groups of people without cost to themselves. We have an exceptional team of therapists who pride themselves on their work within local communities. Our purpose is to make therapies more accessible. Please contact me if you would like to discuss funding or help with our fundraising.
I also work for Trulife Prosthetics as a prosthetic fitter for women who have had breast surgery and hold clinics with patients at various hospitals throughout the South East of England. I am currently training at Level 4 in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am a Iyengar Yoga enthusiast!
WHAT I BELIEVE
I first came to holistic medicine as a patient looking for a gentler way of treating my own symptoms. After seeing how Reflexology treated my symptoms gently and effectively, I decided to become a Reflexologist. Today, I believe in providing gentle healing that improves every aspect of my clients lives.
